From my current knowladge rabbits tails do not just fall of.However my younger sibling pulled the tail off my rabbit and she is fine with no medical complications to speak of.Also if your rabbit does lose its tail to a younger member of the family, take him/her to the vet imediatly (I cant stress this enough)to get special rabbit antibiotics and a special pet band-aid.If it starts bleeding, stay calm,it is connected to the rabbit so it will bleed a little.
Help could someone answer this question.

Cotton tail
Wild rabbits live in burrows.
most geckos lose thier tail. thier tail always grows back.
Wild bunnies survive because they have eyes which can see a much wider picture than humans can. This wide field of vision is very commonamongmost prey animals and allows wild rabbits to seeincomingpredators and mark them out.
