cuz there skin needs to me moist for them to survive. thats why u c them wen it rains and in wet or reletivaly wet places. u see them come up to the surface for air once in a while just like whales. Boom!
Can slugs "see"? Well, yes....sort of. My class and I just finished examining the common garden slug. Slugs have two pair of antennae, also known as "tentacles". The first pair of antennae is located near the slug's "mouth" low on its body and are used as "sensors" to feel and smell. The upper pair of antennae are the slug's "eyes". The slug has a very primitive eye in that it can only see light and dark. The slug's eye is not able to focus like ours so the slug can only "see" based on the level of light present around it. It does not see pictures or images like we do. My class thought the "optical tentacles" were cool because if you look very closely, you can actually see a very small black dot at the tip of each antenna. This is the slug's "eye".
Slugs should like it because it has minerals in it . Tip: Wet dirt is the best
an earthworm because the worm eats dirt not fungi like snails, slugs and clams do

Slugs are infectious! technically you shouldn't be keeping them but if you have an old shoe, fill it with dirt for your slug pet to live in.
i think slugs, they look like slugs but without any shells!
No they like freedom to move.
Outside of an explosive like a firework, nothing 'blows' slugs up. However, salt does damage and often kill slugs.
you can find miney thing in soil but mostly wheather rock
No. The usual garden slugs eat vegetation. Leeches, on the other hand, do suck blood, and they look a lot like slugs.
Slugs and snails like to be in wet, soggy places. They usually creep out when it has been a rainy day, or night. They like it in swamps, and wet grass too.
