sources i have 21 snails
Yes it does. I saw one eating and the thing it was eating literally went through the snail(okay, so it didn't go all the way through, but you could still see the stick through a little part of the snail).
Yes, their nose is also their tongues which are the two pipes which are under their eyes.
yeah they have a body eyes mouth i don't know if they ears
Yes. It is easily seen if you watch one climb a clear surface and look at its underside.
yes they do have tongues and they are delicious
Yes lanie they do!!
Yes, they have a tongue with curved teeth called a radula. They use the radula to scrape off chunks of tissue from seaweed, algae from rocks, and/or pieces of leaves from plants.
yes it is underneath their boddy
by its mouth
inside the snails mouth is a tongue called the radula
I hope so...
The food gets into the snail via its mouth. It's mouth is located underneath the snails head, and can sometimes be difficult to see.
They are big and move as fast as land snails. If they are against clear glass you can see their mouth opening and closing.
they jus eat the same way u do
I know the snails have mouths on the heads, but not really ON. It's like kind of BENEATH their heads. It's under their eyes, on the bottom. It's the same for both water snails and garden snails. That way when it crawls on food it can just eat it, not position the head so the mouth is actually at the food. When the snails crawl on the glass or something transparent, you can sometimes see their tiny mouths opening and closing and they're so cute!
Yes, a snail's mouth is unique. A snail's mouth contains a specialized organ called a Radula. The Radula is used as a rasp to scrap food particles into the snail's gullet.
For protection, to keep their skin hydrated, and for movement.
The Radula. Check related links.
Nothing. Simply because there is no such thing as a male or female snail. All snails are hermaphrodites. Meaning all snails have both sexual organs and they both sperm and lay the eggs. The snails "stick" themselves together by their underbellies and both fertilise each other.
yes they do,if youre talking about saltwater when you dont see their mouth they are sleeping.
