- Nope! I find Axe disgusting and I'm a woman. A boy in my 7th-grade class almost poisoned a teacher with Axe and to this day I absolutely HATE it!
It doesn't make us think that you are sexier. If you want to smell good, then use deodorant and cologne. Axe makes you smell... well... cheap. Sorry for laying it on kind of thick!
- LOL, nope!!! It's all marketing, and a sucker is born every minute. Soap and water, along with a cool personality, is the key.
- Axe does not have any ingredients that are made to "attract" women, and I used to like Axe. It all smells the same; you should really try "cologne," because it's more diverse and less... cheap. Pheromones are the ingredients in a perfume that attracts people.
- As a 3rd-year female college student, I would have to say that Axe smells alright, but I have never known the "Axe Effect" to work. In fact, there are a lot of other colognes that smell better... like Aqua Di Gio for men and also Kenneth Cole Black. I smelled this guy at a party and, oh wow, did he smell good... he claims he was wearing a new Paris Hilton cologne for men. Didn't know they had one... but I wanted to jump on him. So there you have it.
Also, not every cologne is right for every guy. Find something that mixes well with your natural scent. I know a guy who used Axe products for a long time, and it smelled terrible on him. Finally, he had to be told he ought to switch to something else. On the other hand, it smells fine on other guys. Experiment, and find what's right for you.
- My husband and I were smelling them all at the drugstore a few weeks ago, and there was one that was very sexy! Reminded me of high school boys wearing Polo.
- I don't think it's just an Axe product that attracts women, but a good cologne and a good smell in general.
- I prefer Lynx on lads and it's safe to say that the Lynx effect does work. Let's face it -- any lad who goes to the trouble to actually be anything more than something you want to push into the shower is good.
- Personally, I like the smell of Axe; it's just that it gives me a headache when people put too much on.
- Axe products have a great advertising campaign, but the truth is that if someone is attracted to you, it's not because you're wearing Axe and thank God for that!
- I think it's important to note that scientists have found that even if humans still produce pheromones, we no longer carry the receptors necessary to interpret them, so they're just an invisible smell to us -- no magic, sexy scent, unfortunately.
- Sure they will, but they're not the kind of women you actually WANT to attract.
