If they worked, all of America would be slim and healthy. Pills usually claim to boost metabolism and burn fat. But here's the reality. Increasing your adrenaline, which is what these pills do through the use of ephedra, caffeine and other substances, does NOT equal an increase in your overall metabolism. It only means your heart beats faster and your blood pressure rises. There is no quick weight-loss remedy, unforuntately for most of us. But a sensible eating plan and exercise will do the trick over the long haul.
