Air Force 1 is the call-sign and designation of any aircraft carrying the President of the United States of America. This means that if the President moves from one aircraft to another then the designation goes with him.
They certainly are. Just shut down the enginesand see what the aircraft does. In fact, they overcome gravity by generating a counteracting force called lift using the air motion over their wings. Gravity is still there, it's just that the net downward force has been reduced to zero.

No the work done is still positive, the force exerted and the work done to exert that force is still the same. Its just that the other object is exerting more of a force on the object doing the work.
