Do turtles travel in herds?

Groups of Turtles

Turtles are generally solitary and do not travel in groups. However, large numbers of sea turtles, of example, come together for mating and nesting.

By the way, the official collective term for a group of turtles is a "bale of turtles," although many people colloquially refer to a "herd of turtles."
