From experience I would have to say that women prefer men with strong legs. Few women or men really find skinny or weak legs appealing, and it is obvious why.
When humans look at what they "like" or are attracted to, they fall back to their instincts. Men prefer younger, more fertile looking women, while women prefer men who look like they can take care of them. Skinny, or weak people (often called "Scrawns" on the internet) don't always appear that they can do this without some sort of trade-off.
I.E. If the man has a big fancy house and car but is skinny, he can obviously take care of himself, and thusly will be considered as a mate.
A quote I would like to bring up from Yahoo Answers from a member named Squirt in response to a similar question, but a more personal one about womens own "wants" and not necessarily the "needs" provided by their own primal instinct to reproduce.
