Do you agree with a person who writes his autobiography should deal with all the privacy of his life?

[Edit]

No, I don't agree.
The overall life philosophy is more important than all the personal tidbits.

Alternate View

Autobiography is obviously a very personal matter. If someone has the courage to write one, she/he is and ought to be free to emphasize anything. It's like poetic license. If the reading public isn't interested, that's another matter altogether, and the writer has to deal with that. An author may reveal subtle things in a few sordid details that she/he could never have related adequately otherwise.
