Do you automatically lose the case if you just bought a car and have no insurance and got into a car accident or do you have a chance of winning?

Answer

It depends on who is at fault for the accident. Also, in most cases, if you have other cars that are insured, and the accident happened within 30 days of the purchase, there should be coverage under that policy.

If you have no car insurance are you automatically liable?  You were in an auto accident in a car you bought but did not register to you?  Would you lose your insurance benefits if the car accident was your fault and you lose your case?
