if you are talking about the equivalence of degree then there is no difference but as far as market value is concerned regular courses are having more value always s compared to distance courses if...
an amount of money you are paid to do a certain job...it usually is paid only once but you can check. the stipend can be in many different forms (i.e. room and board instead of money etc.).
