No. Long as you repent of your sins, get baptized in Jesus' name, Recieve the holy ghost, and if you are woman don't shear your hair. Just live life accordingly to The Bible, dont pick and choose what you like, live the full truth of the Bible. Check out Acts 2:38-37.

Answer:

Although not on point: It should be noted that being pentecostal gets you to see God do amazing things. I have seen many miracles, the most amazing was a burn victim get the flesh restored onto her legs written W.V. Grant prayed in the name of Jesus for it to happen. It was truly amazing, although the women was wearing stockings, her legs were thin sticks and he prayed I saw the thighs form. I was across the isle, it was amazing. Hard to believe if you did not see it.

Answer

Yes, you do need to be baptized. Some say that the man on the cross went to heaven even though he wasn't baptized. In Romans 10:3-4 it says " 3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."

We are baptized into Christ's death, so how would it matter if the man on the cross was not baptized if Christ had not even died yet. Before Christ died, baptism showed repentance but nothing else. Now it saves people. The Bible also says repent and be baptised for the forgivness of your sins."

The Bible clearly shows that baptism is a necessary for salvation.

Answer

NO. There are other ways to the Kingdom of Heaven also known as the Kingdom og God e.g. 'Let the children come to me, do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.'." (Mark 10). "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew Ch 7) "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ….." (Matthew Ch 5) "I tell you, many will come from east and west and sit at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness; there men will weep and gnash their teeth." (Matthew Ch 8)

Answer

No. The thief on the cross didn't get baptised, and yet Jesus said "Today you will be with me in paradise!" And doesn't being baptised count as a work? The Bible says "Not by works which men have done, but according to his mercy he saves us." We can't do anything to get to Heaven on our own. Is God so powerless that He needs us to do things ourselves to get into Heaven?

Yes, it is plainly written in the KJV in many scriptures that you have to be baptized to go to heaven. :

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and be baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.

**John 3:3-7 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

No, you do not have to be religious to go to heaven (depending on the faith in question). Most spiritualities believe that people go to heaven for proper conduct, and by showing compassion towards each other. Religion does help this, by creating moral frameworks in which adherents must follow, but someone who does not act upon these but prays will never truly be at peace, thus not go to heaven. On the other hand, a rational humanist or an agnostic may live a better life than those who do practice a religion, and therefore may go to heaven.

The Bible says the only way to be saved/go to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ. But I think ifyou are truly saved you would want to go to church. In church you can meet and talk to other believers you can sing praises to God and hear teaching about living the Christian life. The Bible says that all believers in the world make up the 'body of Christ'. If you are part of the body of Christ and you are absent from your local fellowship then part of the body is missing. As a christian you have a part to play in the body of Christ. These verse speak of meeting together: Heb 10:24 Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good. Heb 10:25 Let us <b>not give up the habit of meeting together;, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.

Answer:1st let me say, there is NOT ONE scripture in God's Holy Bible that says a Person Goes to Heaven, His King is on the earth, after the 1,000 years He brings the New Jerusalem down here. NOW, Do you have to go to a church to be part of God's coming Kingdom, the answer is NO, but He does command us to meet each Sabbath in the OT, also I'm not a 7th day Adventist, but No Where in the Bible does it say to meet on the 1st Day of the Week. Christ does say for the end time: Pray that your flight not be on the Sabbath Day nor in the winter.

So then the Sabbath must be still in affect for His True Followers. But to be Part of His Body, where many are called and few are chosen, He says: "IF you love me keep My Commandments", and there's more than just 10. There's a lot of IFs to being a follower, 1Peter 2:21 says He left us an example to follow in His footsteps, that means you will eat biblical clean food, keep all 10 commandments including the 4th-Sabbath and all the Feast which are rehearsals and the fall feast have NOT happen yet- we're waiting the Feast of Trumpets, for the Ram's Horn to sound and the dead in Christ raise from their graves-not heaven. Be Blessed and just listen to the Bible not the Preachers who teach you to keep things Not listed in the Bible!

The Roman Catholic church teaches that all elements of the true church of Christ subsist in the Catholic Church, but whenever one lives a life of goodness and does not deliberately reject God we live in the hope that all are saved and can enter heaven, even if not Catholic

Membership in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) is the only means to man's salvation in the Christian era. All men need salvation, because all men have sinned; because of man's sins, all of mankind should die in the lake of fire (cf. Romans 5:12; 6:23; Revelations 20:14). In order to be saved from eternal condemnation on Judgment Day, one must enter through Christ Jesus by becoming a member of His body or Church (cf. John 10:9; I Cor. 12:27; Col. 1:18) because it is His Church that Christ will save (cf. Ephesians 5:23). Outside the Church Of Christ, there is no salvation. Did the saints in the Old Testament stay in hell?

AnswerWidespread Christian belief is that a person must be baptised as a Christian in order to go to heaven. The Catholic Church makes specific allowance for babies who die in infancy before they can be baptised, with the belief that the souls of infants will go to limbo until the second coming. This belief is currently under review, which may result in the belief that the souls of infants go straight to heaven, in line with much Protestant belief. The position with the pre-Christian Jews is less clear. Some say that they can not go to heaven until the final judgement. Others would accept that their failure to be baptised as Christians was out of ignorance of the faith, and that this should not delay their time in heaven.Either way, most Christians would not condemn the pre-Christian Jews to eternal hell.

Why does the Apostolic church believe in speaking in tongues before going to heaven?

Acts 2:38 states that a person needs to repent and be baptised in the name of Jesus, and then they will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Receiving the Holy Ghost is evidenced by speaking in tongues. Once a person receives the Holy Ghost, then they will go to heaven.
