Apple TV is not like a TV service that gives you TV Channels like Dish-network, or cable Apple TV is a box that plugs in to your TV that will let you watch and listen to your iTunes Purchases. It will let you also watch online video services like Netflix. Though some services like Netflix will charge you.
If you are looking for something to watch TV on, such as ABC, NBC, Discovery, PBS, ext, this is not what you are looking for.

no im pretty sure you have to go to apple every two weeks and re pay for your iPod, but if you get ipod shuffle iSubscription+ you can pay for an entire year up front with an extra service fee of $40 since they have to punch in a larger number than before
