in the 105 months (8.75 yrs) available thru nasdaq, i show no splits, forward or reverse--- but a split prior to this could have been under a different symbol.... to look up split activity on any stock, go here http://www.nasdaq.com/quote.dll?mode=basics&symbol=AMZN&page=charting&selected=$indu and enter the symbol. when chart displays, check the "Splits" box and refresh.
Not that I know of, but Phillip Morris is in a price range to split. That would be determined by the Board of Directors at the next, or next quarterly meeting and by how many outstanding shares the company has out.

You would first have to know a few things. Date of purchase? august 1, 1982 Quantity of purchase? 4 Purchase price? 5,000 Were there dividends? unknown Were the dividend reinvested in stock or paid in cash? How many times has the stock split? unknown The rest is just math.
There are a couple of ways that you could know that a stock has a planned split. The first way of course is that it is announced by the company. If the stock split has been announced it also had what is called an "Ex-Date" which means you have to be an owner of that stock on that date in order to benefit (or not benefit) from the stock split. Many believe that a stock split will lead to higher stock prices, because they are generally started after a significant increase in the overall price of a stock. The reality is it that if you look at any historical data, ultimately what a split does is increase the liquidity and not the price, since there are typically more people willing to buy the stock at the lower price. Some investors feel that stock splits are initiated by the management of a company because they have confidence in the companies future and that can often lead to higher prices but since the reduced share price often attracts more attention from smaller investors, what ultimately happens is that they have little impact on the price of the stock at all.If on the other hand you the news of this split is not currently public then you have inside information on the stock and therefore you are not legally entitled to use that knowledge as you would be guilty of insider trading.Insider trading is a term that is used to refer to the practice, that an insider (someone who has ties to a company) or a related party (family, friends, etc.) generates a trade based on non-public information. Information for instance obtained by an accounting firm, a legal firm, etc., that is obtained during the performance their duties at the corporation and then subsequently used to make trades in the market are considered 'insider trades'.
