When you are on your period your body needs more calories to make up for what is lost (that being said most westerners tend to consume way more calories then what their body needs anyways). This is not a good time to think about weight loss. In a weekend state it is all to easy to catch viruses. This is a good time of the month to take it easy on yourself and ensure you are consuming enough calories to maintain a strong immunity.
