However for those who want to improve their knowledge and be better prepared, there are veterinary assisting programs available. Beware, the majority of these programs are not overseen or taught by people with experience or training in the veterinary field themselves. When choosing a veterinary assisting program look for ones which are designed and taught by veterinary professionals or are approved by a veterinary professional association. There are a few of these programs which are offered through colleges which have American Veterinary Medical Association accredited veterinary technology programs. I know that getting the high school diploma isn't so simple , I mean I've been trying to get y GED for a good time now but I know I can do good in college because when i went to this college i received straight A'S and B's . A lot of people don't even remember half the things that these people taught in high school I don't even see why it's so freaking important I say if you can and is able to get the job done then so be it , Abraham Lincoln didn't have his high school diploma and he is more famous then anyone that had it back then . It's just hard for certain people I think the College diploma counts more because you can see if your going to be able to do that job.
