Do you need an acoustic amp for an electric-acoustic guitar?

Answer:

not really, you could just use a regular amps clean channel
and pretty much get a good acoustic sound using the same settings.
but it you only play acoustic-electric and not straight up electric,
then might as well get an acoustic amp because it would definitely sound better.
still most of the time electric guitar amps have reverb and that would be good enough.
