I checked out the Michigan Department of Insurance Website at www.cis.state.mi.us/ocs but could not locate the insurance requirements for cleaning services.
It is a good idea to carry some liability coverage, a minimum of $100,000 in case of an accident or injury to a third party resulting from your operations or completed work.
A cleaning business should always carry a liability policy we recommend at least $300,000 to $1,000,000 the cost will not be much more than the $100,000 of coverage listed above.
