I am not sure about a blood test, but I know that you do not need it for the normal pregnancy test in which they test your urine. However if it is a clinic I am sure they are used to these types of questions and even worse so you should just call and ask them. NO. You do not need parental consent to have a blood test done for pregnancy at a clinic. I know because I didn't have to have parental consent. I'm 17 and even though my dad knew I was there at the clinic, I did not need him to be there and he would not have found out anyway. Just make sure that you put down a phone number that your parents will not have access to, because this will be the number they call to give you the results. Since your parents may receive insurance billing info, although treatment given is usually in a numerical code, there are ways to decipher the code. For utmost privacy go to planned parenthood or the many womens health centers, and if you give your home number they will only talk with you, but if they accidentally say the clinic name to who picks up this does not help, give instructions you will contact them for the results. It depends upon the laws of the state of residency. Not all states allow a minor (some have specific ages) to receive any medical treatement including blood tests, w/o the permission of the parent(s) or legal guardian. The issue of doctor-patient confidentiality applies only as is prescribed under state law especially when it pertains to minors. nope

∙ 6y agono you do not need a psrents signture to get a pregnancy test if you are 14 just go to a free clinic and explain the situation and they will give you a pregnancy test and it is totaly confadental
