Of course! You only go to Hell if you don't believe in God or you die in sin. See u in Heaven!!!! No seriously, Heaven is just imaginary. It can't exist, it would violate all sorts of laws of physics and thermodynamics, not to mention common sense.

Another Response:

First of all: there are plenty of Christians that are NOT trying to 'get to heaven'. Yet they are baptized, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit. So this idea of 'getting to heaven' is blown way out of proportion, with what The Bible actually says about the 'future of mankind'.

Secondly: Looking at it from YOUR viewpoint; perhaps a simple question will help answer your question.

Was Noah baptized? Was Moses? Was Abraham, David? Were any of the Old Testament people baptized?

From your viewpoint - - where are these good people now? Heaven? Yet they weren't baptized.

Well, actually they're not in heaven anyway; but that's another question.

Truly, water baptism is not essential, but it is a symbol for the kind of baptism you DO need. Water baptism symbolizes the washing of the soul, the removal of all sin and evil restricting you from being close to our Lord, like how water washes your body of all the dirt. Therefore, you can go to heaven without being baptized in water, but you need to be spiritually cleansed of all your sin and evil in order to belong there.

A New Testament perspective:Mark 16:16 - "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned." (These are the words of the Lord Jesus Himself.)

Acts 2:37, 38 - Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 22:16 - 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'

The verses cited are only the "tip of the iceberg" of this teaching. As vehemently as men might disagree, the New Testament makes it perfectly clear that we are not cleansed of our sins (and thus, are not fit to "inherit the kingdom" - 1 Corinthians 15:50) unless and until we are baptized in full accordance with the gospel of Christ.

Romans 6:4 - Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Well it depends on your religion, but no. Baptism is a symbol of obedience, and is done before consecrating oneself to Christian service. Salvation comes from accepting Christ, not through what acts you do. There are such things as deathbed confessions and conversions, and there is not time enough to get Baptized in such cases.

The existence of hell and who goes to hell are both matters of faith, with varying views among Christians. Some do believe that you will go to hell if you are not baptised, while others believe that baptism is largely symbolic and that belief or good works is what is important. The Catholic Church currently teaches that those who are not baptised go to limbo until the last judgement, after which they will go to heaven. The Catholic doctrine of limbo is under review and it is possible that future unbaptised Catholics will go straight to heaven.

No. Baptism is an outward demonstration of an inward action: dying to yourself and rising to follow Christ.

We are save by grace thought faith, not by baptism.

If a new born baby dies does it go to heaven or pregatory?

No one really knows. Different denominations have different beliefs. I believe (no pun intended) that the Catholic belief is that new born babies who have not been baptized go to limbo (I'm not positive on what their position is for those who have been baptized); most Protestant denominations hold that there is no such thing as purgatory, and believe that a newborn would go immediately to heaven (this belief is largely based on Jesus saying "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.").

How can being baptized make a difference to your life?

Christians believe that being baptized means that you have been united with the holy spirit, as a result, you will make it into heaven because you have the spirit in you. There is no age limit for being baptized, but most people get baptized as babies.

If a person was a child, 17yrs or younger, they would go straight to heaven. if a person did not know abot heaven, baptizim, or was physically forced to not be baptized, yes, they would also go to heaven. (if they were VERY good only)

What is the value of baptism?

Baptism is valuable because its a symbol that you have been saved and is a born again christian. It is also a command that if you get saved you are suppose to do it. However it is not a requirement of salvation in other words you can still go to Heaven if you are not baptized.

Do Catholics say babies go to heaven?

A baptized baby has never had the opportunity to commit sin so, of course, the baby will go immediately to Heaven. The Church even feels today that an unbaptized baby probably goes to heaven and, if not, goes to a place called Limbo which assures everlasting happiness but with the absence of God.

What happens to people after they die if they did not believe in the correct religion - for example if Christianity is true are atheists reborn or do they go to heaven or hell?

It all depends on the religion. Christians believe that if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and given your heart over to Him, and been baptized, you go to Hell when you die.

What happens to a saved person if they are not baptized before they die?

To my knowledge, there is nothing in the Bible which directly states the answer to this question. I believe that if a person is truly saved, they will go to heaven whether or not they are baptized. Baptism is not a requirement for salvation; rather it is an act of obedience. It is an outward sign of an inward change. Some people will die before they have a chance to get baptized, but if you are truly a Christian I would strongly suggest that you get baptized.
