Do you need to know a lot of maths?

Answer:

No.

In any average situation, the most practicle of the maths would be arithmetic and geometry. However, the dissertation of arithmetic from the k-12 education system left a void, one replaced with algebra and algebra 2.

Ultimately "math" as a subject is entirely unnecessary, however the concepts and practicle skills gained through the study of math will provide use.

Later in life, depending on your field of study, you may find room for the need of extraordinary mathematic skills. This could lead you into calculus, infinite theory, and physics.

I hope this helped. :)
