Probably not. Unemployment benefits are usually only available if you lose your job (i.e. fired, laid off), not if you forfeit it.
Quitting a job does not qualify for unemployment.
I don't think you can collect unemployment if you QUIT your job to relocate. If the company was relocating to California (or anywhere farther than 50 miles- I think), and you did not want to relocate, then I believe you can get unemployment.
Unfortunately no.
Probably not.
No....you don't get unemployment if you quit. You should have done something stupid and gotten fired. Oh well, good luck on your marriage.
You can only draw umemployment if you get fired. If you could receive it for quitting a job noone would be working.
If you work 82.5 hours per month you are considered employed and would not qualify for unemployment benefits.
No, you cannot legally apply for unemployment insurance if you voluntarily leave your employmnent, for whatever reason.
You live in Utah and moving to Florida to get married. Do you qualify for unemployment Benefit's?
Yes, but Illinois is one of 4 states that offset your unemployment benefits by a part of your Social Security
Looks like right now you can get 26 weeks of unemployment assuming you have enough benefits to collect the full 26 weeks. And if you are eligible you can qualify for an additional 33 weeks of emergency unemployment benefits.
In most states if your employer moved to a location that is very difficult for you to continue working, they would rule you quit for justifiable reasons and would allow unemployment benefits. This move by the employer is something definitely beyond your control. The main question is whether the move was beyond your limits.
