Typically, yes. The father has been known to eat the children. I don't think the mother will, but that's also a possibility. Just try to keep them away from the father when they're born, maybe wait until they open their eyes and get fur.

Your mouse recently had babies and you separated the male from the female because he was trying to mate with her again the babies are now 6 days old and have fur is it ok to put the male back in?

It is fine to put the male back in only if you want another litter of babies! Be careful, because males usually get mad if you take them from their female, resulting in biting or scratching if you are not careful. Also try to remember when you took the male away, because one time I had a female mouse that had her babies overnight. We thought it was fine by taking the male out as soon as possible, but we found out 3 weeks later that she was indeed pregnant again when her babies came. If you are a mouse breeder, I do not incourage double breeding...as it usually results in death of the mother mouse. Why trust me? I have bred mice for about a year and a half now and researched them for much longer. I also have owned mice. -experienced mouse breeder and owner

Put a male white mouse in a cage with a female white mouse... they'll take care of everything from that point. The female needs a good sized clean cage, by herself, with plenty of nesting material, food and water.

Do the male mice eats the baby mice if they are in one tank together example 1 male 2 female and babies?

I've only had a mama and a papa mouse twice. Both times, the papa mouse stayed with the mama and the babies. Both times the male was a very good father to those babies, snuggling them when mama went off to take a break. In fact, my current papa mouse was very excited about the babies when they first came and would squeak at me when I'd go in the cage. My hunch is that if the male and female mouse have a good relationship, and they live in a pretty stress free environment, having a male mouse in with the babies would not be a problem.

How long does it take for a male rat to pregnant a female rat?

If the male is considered good enough by the female and she allows him close to her right away, male rats only take 5 seconds to mount a female and finish the job. The chances of him getting her pregnant are very high, even from only one mating session. From meeting to parting ways, it can take a minimum of 7 seconds for a female rat to become pregnant by a male. And you thought YOUR sex life sucked.
