Yes, that is unless technology is improving and we can travel back in time to bring extict animals back to the present world to live and breed

In my opinion it is possible because some species are formed in the processes of evolution,adaptation, and mix/cross breeding.

I agree with option 2 I believe they can come back because just because u can't see them does not mean they r not there for example before the Caspian Tiger became extinct it mated with a Javan tiger then the cub may take after it's mother or father
