Not really, but dish detergent and glass cleaner are good for getting smudges and dust off. you should try that and see if it works.

What causes a CD to skip when playing?

I've been told that if you spray a little furniture polish like pledge and wipe it dry with a t-shirt it will fill in the scratches and stop most of the skips. It works on small scratches but if the scratches are really bad, nothing that I've tried of will stop it. How do you get scratches off a video game at home?

You really can't, I'm sorry to say. All you really can do is get another copy of the game that does not have scratches. It is a waiste of money, but to tell the truth, that is the only possible solution.

What is the best way to remove scratches from plastic display cases?

A fine grit sandpaper may buff scratches out, or maybe polishing compound. There really is no way to get rid of scratches in plastic, just cover them up.

How do you remove scratches from beats by dre?

AnswerVery easily. Get some iKlear, or anything aqua-based and clean the back and front of your ipod. Now find a clean area to do the following steps. Get a can of brasso - $4 at any hardware store - and apply a small amount onto a clean, soft cloth. Gently massage the front and back of your ipod nano until you see a black residue on your cloth. Next, get the water based solution you used to clean your ipod and wipe away the brasso. If you put enough elbow grease into it, your iPod should be good as new. Do not make it a habit to use brasso on your iPod because it will eventually start to thin down your finish, think of it as chance #2 to get a case on that puppy. To see before and after photos of the brasso technique, google "brasso ipod".AnswerBrasso is good for deeper scratches, however If your scratches are only tiny hairline scratches (very thin and barely noticeable) from normal wear then you don't want to use anything abrasive like polish that literally will remove the chrome finish with enough applications, before doing polish try this quick fix is... Lens CPR, it is used to fill in tiny scratches and the fix will last for months, I had many tiny scratches just from using a dirty cleaning cloth that came with my ipod and this made it look like brand new. It is safe to use on the metal back and the front. Lens CPR didn't do wonders for my eye glasses but for some reason worked wonders on my Ipod touch for scratches, go figure. Keep in mind polishing is the point of no return and should only be considered as the last resort for an Ipod is REALLY bad shape. AnsweriPods have a factory coating. The best way to repair it is to fill in and build up the scratch, layer-by-layer, using a repair kit that addresses coated plastics. Since coatings refract light differently (tint), results will depend on the depth and width of the scratch and tint of the coating. Smoothing a scratched surface with a series of abrasives will strip all coatings. Since the touch system is covered by a clear flexible layer, which is then covered with the iPod coating/s, you will want to be particular with the repair system you use. I have listed some sources to help you out.
