Cato is a Hunger Games tribute from District 1. He is known as a "career" tribute because he was most likely trained for the games his entire life. Therefore, he is very strong and deadly, and a favorite to win the games. Cato is the last tribute killed in the 74th Hunger Games. He is mulled by the mutts, and then Katniss shoots him with an arrow and finally kills him in order to put him out of his misery.

∙ 10y agoHe was not given an official last name in either the books nor the movies. But, on his "Citizens of Panem Registration Form" it says his name is "Cato Hadley". However, I cannot assure the credibility of this, as it could easily be fan art. There are some official Panem IDs, however, in which characters such as Glimmer, for example, whose last names are not stated in the books nor movies, are only given a first name and not a last name. Technically, since his name is not stated in the books nor movies, he does not have a last name. In the fandom world, his name may be "Cato Hadley", but in Suzanne Collins' world, his name is "Cato".

∙ 12y agoCato was the male tribute from District 2 in the 74th Hunger Games, and one of the main antagonists of The Hunger Games, due to being a Career Tribute. He is the leader of the Career Pack formed by tributes from Districts 1,2, and 4 ( in the book.)
