Don't even try it. Coricidin has other additives, such as acetaminophen and antihistamines that could kill you or do permanent damage to your liver in larger doses.

The active ingredient in Coricidin is DXM (dextromethorpan) and can give abusers a euphoric LSD-like high, but could also harm you in larger doses.

Over-the-counter medications are not safe for using to get high, many are especially deadly if you take them other than as directed on the label or take them in combination with other medicines or alcohol. They also can make you feel more sick than high anyway.

If they don't kill you, they can leave you a veggie with a dead brain. Seriously not worth the risks.

It sure as hell can! Downing a full bottle will cause an approximate 9 hour trip which tends to be slightly different for each person. It can involve strong hallucinations (cognitive, visual, maybe auditory), a sense of euphoria (which lasts for hours after the main drug has worn off), and a numbing of physical pain (including muscular pain, making someone capable of dong strenuous activities with ease). If one were to take the non-drowsy syrup with psuedoephedrine added in, another side effect will be a lucid hyperactivity with the sensation of tightened muscles.

Of course, the marketing companies are not honest about these effects.

well, in short, yeah. alot of people will go on with the blah blah about how over the counter medicine abuse is bad in general, then how coricidin's Clorphenirmine ingridient will tear up you insides. its all true, i just hate hearing. Ive personally abused coricidin more than alot of people on the internet, and the effects were felt. its bad stuff. im gonna say go for it, but take only 6-12 pills, and dont keep doing it. im being as nice as possibl, and as informative as possible. enjoy yourself, its fun, but i honestly , through my abuse, sucked all the fun out of dxm, and cant do any dose, without regretting it and throwing up, getting nauseousness and a lousy trip. i cant even look at the pills anymore. dont go down this road. i remember when i thought dxm was the best drug out. now i consider it just hell. dont go this route. try taking the 8 or so pills. smoke some bud or k2. but dont get caught up. hope this helped

It's highly addictive, and will screw you over.
