Does Effexor XR give you bad headaches?

I have been taking it for a long time and I do get headaches, sometimes so bad I would say they can be migraines! I have to take so many other meds, I have been thinking it was taking all of my meds at the same time. For example I start the morning with my two pain meds, then around lunch I take my blood pressure meds, and another pain pill, and my muscle relaxer. At night or sometimes early eve. I am ready to take my 2nd morphine and my nerve pill and my 3rd lortab for the day. Then, what I am now doing with the effexor xr is taking it right before I lay down for the night. I have noticed just a small amount of relief from the headaches. So it may be something else behind the headaches.
the head ache indicates a toxicity ask your MD to give a smaller dose or a combo of 2 low dose antidepresents ie 20 mg Prozac and 150 welutrin xr if you are on this type of rx for an extended period of time a liver function test every 3 months should be required as to head of f problems early
