Once she gets over the whole Gohan thing in the beginning of Z she shows herself as the devoted wife that she really is. Chichi beats up the tutor Mr. Shu for speaking badly of Goku, Goku goes to driving school at Chichi's instistance but we all know it is because he loved her. And when Goku falls ill from the heart virus she sits faithfully by his side and before he leaves when he gets better they spend a tender moment together. Not only that but when he had his day pass to be in the tournament he told her how much he had missed her, when he saw her after the majin buu saga at Kami's place he told her he loved her as well.
