No. England and Scotland, and also Wales, are on an island called Great Britain. To the west is the neighbouring island of Ireland, consisting of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales are collectively known as the United Kingdom. None of those four parts can be said to own any of the others. The Republic of Ireland is not part of the United Kingdom.
