Yes Lexapro does make you gain weight. In July 2007 I was 117 pounds wihich I had lost because of a big depression this winter. We are now at the end of Oct and I weight 144 lbs. I started Lexapro in May but at that time was on 150mg of Wellbutrin and doctor put me down to 100 mg. I am also taking 200 mg Topomax which had help me loose a lost of weight put even with that it doesn't stop the weight. Another side effect of Lexapro it you can not have any orgasm. It has stopped completely. No problems before.

Please take another drug before Lexapro. It makes you feel good but the side effect are not worth it.
