Does Popeye have one eye or two?
Popeye the Sailorman originally had one eye. He claims to have lost it in "The most arfull battle".

Later, this was changed, perhaps to scare the children, and Popeye can be seen squinting first on one side, showing one eye, and then on the other side showing his other eye.
