Generally, UK uses PAL (or Region 2) televisions while America uses NTSC (Or Region 1) televisions. Hence, x360's in the UK are PAL designed and USA consoles are NTSC compliant. While there is a chance certain TV's may handle both colour systems, it is better to stick to a local console - especially so for warranties, etc.
