It could mean that he likes you. This is definitely something that you will need to talk to him about; however if he is already talking to you then this is a really good start!

you should probably wait and see if she is like really obsessed with him, like if she talks about him every day and wont shut up or if she always stares at him. but if she doesnt do all of that and she just likes him, its okay to like him and maybe accept if he asks you out. but no one can control your feelings.
