No. If you already have a digital TV, when the digital transition occurs in February 2009, you will still receive broadcast signals from your antenna. There is no need to purchase additional equipment (a converter box).

∙ 12y agoNo, HD televisions do not require a digital tv converter. Older analog television sets will require a digital converter box. You will still be able to use your television once the digital conversion box has been installed.
