no they do not, they only test for Cervical cancer
No. Most HIV methods of testing are through blood tests. An HIV test doesn't actual determine if you are carrying HIV, but it tests if your blood is carrying a specific anti-body that reacts to HIV. Therefore, even if you have HIV, a test will be negative until your body produces the anti-body that will make a test react positive. In most cases, anti-bodies for HIV will develop in a person within 3 months of being exposed to HIV.

Newer forms of HIV rapid testing can be done using saliva (technically not saliva, but oral fluid released from the mucosal surface of the cheek), and also test for antibodies in the oral fluid. They are less sensitive than blood testing, but still very useful in many settings.

Pap smears test for abnormalities in cells, and not specifically for HIV anti-bodies. It is my understanding that this test is an "indicator test" only. Meaning, further tests must be done to determine if cancer is present (as well as if HIV is present).
No, it is not designed to detect HIV. If you are concerned, you should get tested specifically for HIV.
No, HIV will not show up on a PAP test.

A Pap smear (Pap test) is a test of a sample of cells taken from a woman's cervix. The test is used to look for changes in the cells of the cervix that show cervical cancer or conditions that may develop into cancer.

The test for herpes virus is cultured from the herpes sore itself.

Very rarely, a woman who happens to be having a herpes outbreak on the cervix at the time of the pap smear will have a pap result that also detects herpes. But, on the other hand, a normal pap smear does not mean that a woman does not have herpes.
If the girl is not experiencing an outbreak, herpes may not present in a pap smear. Herpes is best tested for using specific blood tests. Fluid samples from sores can also be tested during an outbreak.

A pap smear does not test for HPV; it looks for abnormal cells on the cervix and helps identify women who need additional screening tests for HPV.

Sometimes your health care provider will order an HPV test along with your pap. This additional test may be ordered based on your age, or based on your pap history, or if you get an inconclusive Pap smear result.

But a pap smear itself does not test for HPV, and a negative pap result doesn't mean that you don't have HPV.

Absolutely not!

An abnormal pap is an indication that the test has identified some abnormality in the cells that were sent to the laboratory for study. Abnormal paps can be the result of bacterial/viral infections and/or changes in the cells of the vagina/cervix. However, an abnormal pap alone is not a symptom of HIV infection.

A pap smear does not detect HIV. A pap smear rarely detects herpes -- only when the patient is having an active outbreak on the cervix at the time of the smear. A normal pap smear does not tell a woman that she doesn't have herpes.
