Well the answer is no, but you can trick them. Say you already have somebody in the family with a data plan. Say its your mother. Tell her to go to the store and get the phone you want. Since she already has a data plan she wont need one. then just switch the sim card.
You cant use a smart phone without data plan.
yes it requires a data plan.
In order to use the iPhone, you must use a smartphone plan, but some Android phones may be compatible with PrePaid plans. This will, however, still require smartphone data.
No
Yes because it is a smartphone
No it does not, you can have one though. It's not a smartphone.
I work for ATT and you must leave the data plan. IF you deleted the data plan, the phone will not work. Hope this helps
Being that it's a Smartphone - yes a data plan is required. The price of such plan all depends on which cellular GOUGING service you are contracted with.
yes
Data is wifi. The only way a smartphone can use wifi without having a data plan is when it is connected to wifi at a building.
Before picking a smartphone plan to go along with your smartphone, you need to decide what your needs are regarding smartphone usage. Do not automatically pick the unlimited data plan option, because you may not need it and most unlimited plans are on the costly side. If you only plan to use the data options for e-mail and occasional web browsing, you may be able to do fine with plans under 1 gigabyte. Also, if your workplace and your home has free wireless internet, you may also be able to cut back on your data plan and pick less expensive options.
If you want a smartphone without a data plan, you will have to buy the phone full price without a contract discount. You will not be able to acess data OTA (over the air) only through Wi-Fi (if applicable) but you will still be able to use the phone's applications, text messaging and phone functions.
