Is it usual when there is a clear mucusy discharge when ovulation is occurring?

That can happen in some women during ovulation. But it could just be something else. And it could be at the beginning, middle or end of ovulation. It's very hard to tell. ovulation 'usually' occurs around 14 days after the last day of your period. If you can keep track you will be better off than I. I heard that there is a egg white discharge when you are ovulating, I have been reading up on this stuff alot!

∙ 12y agoNo it means ur still ovulating. The mucus helps sperm swim to the egg. That's why they say egg whites help to get pregnant. It most resembles vaginal mucus during ovulation. U wont be able to tell ur pregnant by ur mucus. But if u have been checking ur cervix, u might be, but its not 100% acurate. Ur cervix will raise back, but it will remain soft if u have become pregnant. But don't take that as a positive, b/c the pregnancy might not take, and the cervix will return to its normal non pregnant state.

∙ 12y agoNo, not necessarily. This is the exact description of normal cervical fluid that comes every month during ovulation. However, white, clear vaginal discharge can also be a sign of pregnancy.
