lol to answer above, i didnt think so, but then again the girl that did my tongue piercing sprayed it with numbing stuff? no numbing stuff WA used on lip, and that barely hurt, its all over sooo fast both piercings are worth getting =)

Actually, I got my tongue pierced when I was 16. I only felt a prick. That's all. Unless you take it out(what i did), let it heal, then get it redone. THATS when it hurts like hell! Because of the scar tissue. I didnt get numbing stuff at all. The person that did it was very expirienced. It was very cool. I still have mine done today, and im glad i got it done. I shouldn't have tooken it out in the first place but im glad i got it done the second time. The listerine burns though!
I got them both done, and personally the tongue definitely hurts more than your lip.

∙ 14y agoThat depends on where in your lip and where in your tongue the piercings would be located.
You could always bite your lip and then bite your tongue with the same pressure to see which hurts more, I don't really know. I do know, however, that getting snakebites hurt far worse than getting a central labret.
-It didnt hurt when i got my lip pierced, shots hurt WAY worser. And they heal pretty good if u take care of it and keep it clean. As for tongue piercings my brother said it didnt hurt its just the healing process that sucks. So i would say a tongue piercing would hurt worse.-

∙ 12y agookay so i have had my lip pierced for over 9 months now and I'll tell you everything. my friend pierced my lip but if you don't get it professionally done make sure you have somebody that knows what their doin to pierce your lip! it doesnt really hurt. i have had my lip pierced two times and at first it kinda hurt but not really it just feels like a a pinch it only hurts a lil bit more then what getting your ears pierced does. but like every piercing it will get infected but by reducing the infection you must clean it everyday.Do Not use alchol to clean your piercing it will make the piercing more inflammed and more infected,use a gentle anti bacterial soap and gently cleanse your lip ring.it will be sore for a few days but the swelling usually goes away in about a week or so. well hope this advice works. good luck:)

my friend Tiffany has every piercing you can think of. nose, navel, eyebrow, clit, nipple, monroe, etc. Tiffany is one of those people that enjoy pain.i asked Tiffany what piercing hurts the most, and she said clit. she said it hurt like hell*I just want to add that everyone has a different pain tolerance. A piercing that hurt on one person may not have on another. Therefore, there is no true answer to this question.it really all depends how much pain you can tolerate. but your tounge, septum, cartilage and belly button will hurt more than others.

Your belly button has more nerves in it, so it will hurt more. I can't really say but I had my belly button done when i was 14(6years ago) and I was terrified but it didn't even hurt my mum friend had her nose done and said it hurt and was a lot like the top of your ear because its cartilage but is in a more sensitive area so I'm guessing your nose might hurt more but they are probably similar. Your belly button doesn't hurt because its just a flap of skin and heals really quickly. I've personally had both done, and the nose hurt a little more. I had my nose pierced with a gun and it just stung for a little while, just the same as the belly button. And the belly button takes longer to heal than the nose, the nose takes 2 weeks where as the belly button takes about months to a year. Don't get me wrong they both hurt a bit, but it feels similar to a shot. :) **from a personal view i thought that my belly button hurt worse, but my nose definitely made me curse out loud, so who is to say they both don't hurt equally from your view. I do know that my belly button is healing way faster than my nose did, I've had it pierced since Dec 09 and the tissue is still tender, I had issues with it ripping out in my sleep so ouch, but my belly button has been done no more than a week and even though it hurt worse I'm satisfied with my results, it looks and feels pretty great to me. It's only been two months since my nose piercing. Everybody's body is different though but I would NOT get any piercing other than my ears (and even that I don't recommend, read up on a gun vs a hollow needle) that's ridiculous. I would never recommend a gun for a nose eyebrow belly button etc piercing and I definitely would not let a shop pierce me like that!

A nose piercing hurts more when piercing it than after it is done. The pain generally lasts a few seconds and if done by a professional it hurts less because they use quality needles.
