Yes. Chemical weathering can attack the feldspars, a component of granite, producing clays and dissolved silica. Quartz particles in granite are weathered mechanically, eventually producing quartz sand grains.

It depends on how acidic the acid is, some rain would only wear down the rocks, while some could melt rocks. Such as the rain on planet neptune.

AND...

It also depends on what type of rock it is.

For example igneous rocks won't dissolve with rain water But Sedimentary rocks such as limestone or sandstone does. Some of the metamorphic rocks does too but it depends for example slate doesn't react but marble does.
