1)yellowing of leaves,
2)corrosion of metals and marbleas it forms calcium hydroxide which easily dissolves in water and erodes away harming the marble buildings
3)it can also result in allergic diseases in humans
4)it can increase the acidity of soil thereby, making it unsuitable for the growth of many plants.
