when you are a baby the heart rate is normal and also when active.Your heart is now developing a fuul rate and when active alot as you gets older your heart is now becoming at a faster rate.If you are an athletic your heart rate will not be the same as a normal person's heart rate because your body is enagetic so the haert don't need to pump that fast cause one pump can carry blood to the hole body.

Both age and physical fitness can have an effect on heart rate. In simple terms, the heart is a giant muscle. If you go through your life without working out, then this muscle will have to work harder to get its work done, which is helping to supply oxygen to the rest of the body. Working out, increases the workload capacity of this muscle. The average resting pulse for most people is between 70-76 BPM. A good resting HR is under 70. Many avid runners have a resting HR at or under 60 BPM.

This is why aerobic exercise. (exercise that also works out the heart) is so important.

Think of it this way. If you can knock 10 BPM off your Heart rate, think about how much easier your heart will work over its lifetime.

Yes! Age and physical exercise can have an effect on your heart rate. The more you train and have more endurance, the lower your heart rate is going to be. Which, means the healthier you will be. Your HR raises with age but with physical activity, it shouldn't change too much.
