It depends what type of birth control is being considered. The best type of birth control is abstinence. In this case, alcohol intake may lower one's inhibitions, which might lead to doing things that would be regretted later, including sex.

If on "the pill,", although it isn't likely, drinking a lot and potentially vomiting, may also lead to vomiting the pill.
