Does an Ivy League education prove to open enough doors to make the 40000 tuition worth it versus good grades from a respected public university?

Answer

Very good question to be asking b4 you go. It's decision time for you, huh? Well, it goes both ways and you must decide in the end. I will try to help. Yes, employers just like universities want the best and brightest. That means yes to the Ivy League. However, you could mess this up by going to Harvard and getting a Real Estate or a Entrepreneurs degree. Understand? Whichever you choose, get some degree that is ultra solid like Accounting or Finance. You will write your own ticket. And your Ivy League will come in handy in many places, guaranteed. It did for me. If you go public you will have many opportunities as well, but your degree again has to be solid so you can work when you get out. After all, none of it is cheap, you'll have to pay for it somehow. Advice, if you have a chance at the Ivy League, regardless of cost, do it. You only live once.
