Does anyone else think that the Rob Zombie version of Halloween caused Michael Myers to lose his mystique by humanizing him by showing his young life and his youth?

Answer:

If anything I thought it made the character better. Its alot different when you know about the person. I loved how we were able to see that other side of Michael that has been a mystery for years. It provides a better visual for the character himself. Sure, we see him differently after the film but I think its in a better way. We understand more of why he was doing what he did.
