As in all things intended for human consumption, Arizona products also contain an expiration date. The difference between Arizona products and most other products is the way that Arizona displays it's dates. Arizona presents the consumer with a "manufactured on" date depicted in such a way that a calculator, a calendar and problem solving skills are required to decipher the expiration date. The date is either 5 or 6 characters (depending on the day of the year that particular product was created) located either on the bottom or near the twist cap. The first character will be a letter, this is to be disregarded. The last two numbers are the abbreviated year of manufacture and the numbers between the year and the letter (at the beginning) represent the number of day in the year that the product was manufactured. For example if the container says "M16311", then I know that this particular product was created on June 12, 2011, the 163rd day of '11 or 2011 . Depending on the type of container the product is in determines how long until it is technically expired. Glass and cans, unopened, last 24 months; and opened with refrigeration, 7 to 10 days, but only 2 to 4 without refrigeration. The only difference with the plastic gallon jugs is that instead of being good for 24 months, they're only good for 18 months: the rest is exactly the same (7-10 & 2-4).
Most teas have a shelf life of about 2 to 3 years, and only about 6 months for green tea. Commercial instant mixes will normally cake and dry out as well.

Tea does grow stale and lose flavor over time, even if it is stored properly. Most tea should be stored in an airtight container in a dark area (typically either in a metal tin, or in glass in a dark cupboard). If tea is stored improperly it can lose its flavor much more quickly. Usually, stale tea is bland but perfectly drinkable, although sometimes it can spoil or develop "off" qualities in the aroma.
There is a lot of dispute about how long tea stays fresh; it likely depends on the type of variety. A few teas lose the best qualities of their aroma after a few months, but many teas keep most of their flavor for 2 years or more.
Some tea companies stamp a very long expiration date on commercially packaged teas, as far as 3-4 years after processing. These dates can be overly optimistic. It is best to not trust this date, but rather, trust the date of harvest and processing, if this is available. The best tea companies will make this information available.

Yes, expired matcha is perfectly safe to drink. The only reason it has an expiration date is that it goes stale fairly quickly. However, this doesn't negatively affect the power further than dulling the colour and reducing the taste. (:
I have a tin of matcha powder that's about 13 years old, and it's still fine.
yes of course because every food has an expiry date.
no but it will get stale
yes
Green tea should not be consumed after its expiration date to prevent the risk of illness. Here dried and sealed teas can become moist and harbor bacteria. hence the prepared teas also contain sugars and other ingredients that can increase the risk of spoiling. So while purchasing tea check the date. Prefer to buy green tea with in the expiration date.
No
Similar to many other flavors of tea Earl Grey tea expiration date is 3 years after its manufactured.
There are some good benefits to green tea. However, Arizona green tea contains many additives so it is not as beneficial. Green tea contains high amounts of antioxidants, is good for your skin, and releasing toxins.
It doesn't.
Nobody ever bought it
If it is a dry tea or tea leaves, no. But, bottled drinks can be sour if the expiration date is several months ago. Turn it over and check the bottom. Many of the companies add sugar, so if anything is floating in it, don't drink it.
no but it starts to taste bad after it has been at room temp for a while... idk if it is harmful
Arizona Tea
The answer is no. The benefits of green tea are; antioxidants, polyphenols and of course a healthy dose of water. It has been surmised, but not fully proven, that drinking green tea can decrease the chances of heart disease, lung problems, chronic fatigue and promote weight loss. And while Arizona Green Tea does have green tea in it, the detriments far out weigh the benefits of this commercial brew. This is because when you are drinking Arizona Green Tea, you're not just drinking green tea, you're drinking sugars, preservatives, and artificial/natural flavors. Honestly, stick to the real thing. A hot cup, brewed for a minute per serving (usually 2-3 min) drizzle in some honey for sweetness or squeeze in some lemon for zest. You're wallet and waistline will thank you. Cheers :)
I would check out the list of ingredients and discuss it with your pediatrician.
can i take expired green tea extreme weight loss aid if the date is 12/--/10
