Does being asked to do a phone interview mean you have a good chance of being hired?

Answer

Hi Karly,

A phone interview isn't necessarily a positive sign. If they're in another city it could be just that they don't want to fly you out until they know you're a good prospect.

But it sounds like you have a special situation here, given that you've worked with them before.

Good luck!
