Hmm. I'm not sure. She did basically say she loves him during his fight with Karasu, but fans have taken that as they will. Apparently, the subtitle of the original (mark out the English version) says she didn't want to send another fighter in their team in the spirit realm, aherm..she apparently meant she cared for Ba-san (whatever her real name is) the pink haired dudette. So she doesn't like or love Kurama-senpai in that way

No in yu yu hakusho botan doesnt like hiei more then a friend..but people like to think of them as a couple because they believe they would make a good couple. I always thought that Hiei had too much of a edge for botan, though vegeta from the dragon ball series has the same personality (with the same black hair) and he hooked up with bulma, a girl who sharply resembles botan with her blue hair who also had an upbeat spirit.
