Since cigarette smoke contains carbon dioxide, it can actually benefit the photosynthesis process if the plant is receiving enough light. They can help remove some of the pollution from the air we breathe, including some of the harmful chemicals in cigarette smoke. not as far as i know, tobacco of course is a plant product. it is however used in Cuba and other tobacco farming countries as a cheap insecticide. damaged or leaves that cannot be sold to for tobacco production are placed in water, the extracted nicotine is then used as an insecticide on the plants
