Not that I know of , But office drinking foutines have alot of bacteria on them , so dont put your mouth on it and wash your hands after.
1. Mouth ulcers result from stress and reduction in immunity and deficiency of vitamins. They can result from bad oral hygiene. They can also result due to excesssive chewing of tobacco.
2. Whether water is purified or not, should not matter as far as ulcers are concerned.
3. However the temperature of the water which is supplied by water coolers is very cold can theoretically cause local vaso-constriction and hence predispose the oral cavity to pharyngitis, laryngitis, common cold and bacterial, fungal, viral and other microbial infections and ulcers. Whether this actually happens or not has to be studied honestly and without any kind of vested interest.
4. The ideal water to drink [according to me] is the one which is stored in earthen pots.
